Louis Naude has been a full time custom knife maker for more than 8 years now. As a country boy he made his first knife from an electric planer blade. He has been wearing and using a knife for as long as he can remember.

A family man, an artist and also an artisan, as sculptor his medium was steel but it wasn't until he was introduced to knife making that he found his true calling.

Louis works freehand in 440, RWL34, N690 and also in 12 C27. His blades are mostly “Scotchbrite” finished and it contrasts the etching dramatically. (see etching samples) Just like you, Louis has a passion for the worlds oldest tool.
